It’s the expansive kitchens that get all the praise, however, compact kitchens have a great deal of value too. With a well-organized floorplan layout and quality materials, a compact kitchen can get a lot of work done as well. Alliance Group transformed the entire interior for this mobile home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The remodeling team created a bright and open feeling kitchen and bathroom. Visually, the design added a lot of “space”, physically, it added lot’s of new functional storage.
An overall neutral color palette with bright white cabinetry and sleek stainless steel appliances sets the tone for this kitchen. The open galley layout of the floor plan allows for multiple people to access the space without interfering with each other much. This is perfect for busy families. A natural stone countertop adds warmth to the color palette and durable work surface for practical use.
The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower with glass doors, rain-head shower, expansive niche, and a white and grey color palette. Here is another place where the use of light-colored materials and visual tricks such as the glass in the shower and large cut tiles make the small room look and feel bigger than it is. The shower and floor tile give the look of marble without any of the maintenance because it’s actually ceramic. Over at the vanity, the bright crisp look continues but with more contrast given by the dark countertop and framed mirror.
